The Forgotten
Lights

The Forgotten Lights is a project of singer, songwriter and producer graxie. Her songs are confessional, political, and emotive—a distinctive creative voice delivering meaningful, heartfelt lyrics in a modern alt-rock package.

Imbued with the spirit of 90s alternative and grunge, they reflect her love of Jeff Buckley, Death Cab for Cutie, Something for Kate, Pearl Jam and the Smashing Pumpkins. There are also echoes of the Sydney indie scene of the 2000s—think Bluebottle Kiss and Big Heavy Stuff—where graxie got her start.

The latest single, "Something More," takes a heavier turn, calling to mind artists like A Perfect Circle. The riffs hit hard without burying the hook—it's the kind of song listeners who typically steer clear of the heavy end of the spectrum will still enjoy.

It’s the fourth single since the Forgotten Lights' 2021 debut EP Letting Go, landing after “Comedown,” “Love Them Hard,” and the deeply personal “Ode To Thee,” a reflection on the night her mother passed.

graxie writes and produces from her Blue Mountains studio, and is open to collaborating with other artists as a songwriter, producer, or performer.
